Arijit Singh Releases A Song ‘Aar Kobe’ Bengal Uprising

Popular singer Arijit Singh has released a song Aar Kobe today indicating a political shift in Bengal. Although the song is in bengali, the music and lyrics are not only foot tapping but also a chorus which reflects a collective voice becoming a clamour.

The 12-day Bengal bandh called by the BJP today has met with mixed response at least giving a symbolic voice to the people agitating against a hot headed Mamata Banerjee whose over reaction to every smallest step against her has made the government look less democratic every day.

West Bengal is slowly going to dogs. The criminals are ruling the roost. The Supreme Court was at pains last week replacing the state police with CISF for security of the state hospitals in the state. That is only a tip of the iceberg. More horror stories are the skeletons in the cup board there giving the state government such a bad name that the solution looks worse than the problem.
