Indian Railways Fences Along Tracks Of Vande Bharat Trains

Indian Railways has begun to fence along the rail tracks of Vande Bharat Express train. The fences will keep the cattle away from the tracks and help the flagship train clock 160 km @ hour. The Railways officials scoured over 1900 km of boundary wall across major routes such as Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Howrah, to find the most vulnerable spots.

Himanshu Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Northern Railway has been quoted as having informed about completion of the fencing between Delhi-Chipyana Buzurg. Besides, the tracks between Ghaziabad and Moradabad have begun to be fenced. Earlier, the Western Railway (WR) zone completed the metal fencing along the tracks between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

The Indian Railways is the most important cog in the wheel of Indian economy forceast to grow at 7% in 24-25, according to World Bank revising its earlier estimate of 6.6% growth. The current global challenges are not going to hold the indomitable Indian spirit swaying over the rest of the world with its democratic, enterprising values embedded deep into the psyche of every Indian citizen by the solid fundamentals.
