Second secretary of the Kazakhastan embassy in India, Yermek Aitmagambetov faciliated the meetings in Delhi today.

Damir and Arman, the Director and the Dy Director of Zhaik Petroleum and West Gas Oil respectively, shared the business opportunities with the prospective investors in four sectors: Methanol plant in Kazakhasatan, Export of Petroleum products, Collaboration with Indian companies in Defence and ofcourse the usual Export-Import between both the nations.

Shitanshu S Shukla, communication expert and export consultant, shared the bottleneck in petroleum export with both the companies giving assurances of addressing the concerns immediately to export petroleum. Manoj Sinha, the consultant with the Ministry of Environment gave the companies a roadmap to manufacture a methnol plant in Kazkhastan. However, Damir wanted only 30% equity from an Indian investor. He also told later that methanol can be exported to India as and when the production starts.

Promises of export from Kazakhastan to India are held out by a wide range of commodities finding their way into India’s market. The pharmaceuticals from India have oflate found a way into Kazakhastan. They are popular because of quality and affordability.
