Supreme Court To Suo Moto Hear Kolkata Doctor’s Rape Murder

The Supreme Court will hear a suo motu case of the Kolkata rape and murder case, already transferred by the Calcutta High Court to the CBI for a thorough investigation following an outcry.

The brutal murder and savage rape have shaken to core the conscience of the national consciousness. A bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra will hear the case on August 20. Union Home Ministry has ordered the West Bengal Home Ministry, held by Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee, to keep posted every 2 hours. It is a stinging rebuke to the Mamata Bannerjee whose inept and terrible attitude have kept the state on the boil.
